Intro To Art A Watercolors

Last week we worked on watercolor still lifes for Intro To Art A. We did a grid drawing, then layed out a flat yellow wash. We applied colors in layers to achieve warmth and shadow. Techniques were applied and added variety.

Week 8 Card Board Sculptures

Week 5-6 Cardboard Sculptures 3D Art

Week five and six had students creating a symbol or logo that was three dimensional. They had to use cardboard layered with paper mache. They then painted them with the design of their choice and could apply mixed media if they chose. They are finishing up designs and getting ready to reflect on a recent critique we had.
They had to use a design that complimented or accented the shape of the logo they chose.
