Week 1-4 3-D Art

Week 1 3-D Art had a challenge where they had to make a sculpure out of white styrofoam cups without using glue or tape. They worked in groups and had to create a sculpture on the following criteria: Strength, Height, Stability, Creativity, Teamwork and Craftsmanship. This was preparation for their individual sculptures to follow.

Three Dimensional Art has been designing white paper sculptures to show the interplay between light and shadow. The goal was to use at least 3-4 different sculpting techniques using only white paper, glue and tape. The tape could not show in the final presentation. Students then presented work during a critique and recieved and made suggestions to each other about improvements. Revisions were made based on suggestions and they had peer and self reflections.
